Vinyl Vybz with DJ HasH 1 year anniversary show ft. the Temporary Residents + the Enstrumental Clothing "Rap - Lies = Hip Hop" giveaway!

What’s up! Thank you SO much for joining me for this Vinyl Vybz with DJ HasH one year anniversary show featuring my crew, my partners-in-crime, my FAMILY the Temporary Residents!!! I had a GREAT time doing the show and it’s one that I’ll NEVER forget! The Temporary Residents flew across the pond from their hometown of London, ALL the way to my city Chicago to chop it up with me on Vinyl Vybz and I can’t thank them enough!

Not only did I have a dope conversation with the Temporary Residents but you know I also played some DOPE music. That’s just how I do! :) I wanted to make sure that I repped for the U.K (i.e. Silhouette Brown, Ty), my city Chicago (i.e. Common, Eulorhythmics ) , and other DOPE music from around the world (i.e. Belgium, Canada , Netherlands). Plus I ended the show with some BANGA’S that are very special to me AND to Vinyl Vybz with DJ HasH so be sure to check for that!

The icing on the cake for this one year anniversary show was the giveaway courtesy of Drew at Enstrumental Clothing. During this show I gave you an opportunity to win one of Enstrumental’s most popular items, the Rap–Lies = Hip Hop t-shirt. I asked a question that was very easy so that everyone had an equal opportunity to win the t-shirt. If you missed the show last night don’t worry. You still have an opportunity to win. Just listen to the podcast and give your answer as a comment on this blog post or at once you hear the question. You have until MIDNIGHT (05-31-10) central time to answer. After that , TWO lucky winners will be randomly picked!!! So listen to this show ASAP!!!

Be sure to tune in next week for yet ANOTHER special show! I’ll be choppin it up with the one and only Ladybug Mecca (Digable Planets) via telephone. YESSIR!!! I’ll be seeing what she’s been up to as of late, as well as, playing some Digable Planet BANGA’S, DOPENESS off Ladybug Mecca’s solo album Trip the Light Fantastic, and songs she was featured on that was equally as dope! Plus I got more AMAZING music on deck from the likes of Ty, Das Efx, Panacea, and Lupe Fiasco JUST to name a few. PLUS an Old to the New featuring Heavy D & the Boyz , as well as, Camp Lo! As always, it goes DOWN Tuesday from 6-8pm (CST) on the award winning! YES INDEEDY!!!
